365- Day 213

stronger

We went to The Deep again today, we went in April and once you have been and filled in a form you can then visit in the year for a donation. Harry loved seeing the fish.

We then did some clothes shopping, came home, had tea then went to the allotment.
We got all the peas and came home and podded them all, the courgettes were ready too.

We only planted the raspberry plants last year so wasnt expecting many raspberries but we have had quite a few.

The sweetcorn is coming along nicely and you can sort of see in the photo the one at the back is a lot 'stronger' than the plant in the front. :)

The busy workers! Can you see my wicker basket too? I got it at the agricultural show, its just right for collecting our produce.

365- Day 211

heavy

Happy 1st Birthday Harry

We had a lovely afternoon with family....and I can not believe that a year ago he looked like this

It still surprises me the change in 12 months :)

Grandma (Richards mum) had been on holiday and brought back a stick of rock for the kids...is thats my heavy- well rock is heavy isnt it.lol.

The Happy Scrappers challenge

Challenge 3

This is the first time I have taken part in The Happy Scrappers challenge, it was suggested to me by Kathijo, Thank you :)

The challenge can be found here
http://thehappyscrapperschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/

So the challenge was birthday celebrations.

I decided to use photos from Evies 2nd birthday...the layout ended up being a bit busier then then I first intended.

Thank you for looking and setting the challenge.

365- Day 210

rings

This was the sky last night, it had some lovely colours.

After Evies early swimming lesson we went to Tesco and picked up a few bits and also a clothes order, in it I had got an England shorts and Tshirt for Harry, it was reduced from £6 to £1.60.

Rings- Harry playing with the stacking rings, he was using the blue one as a telephone :)

I ordered an eco smash to put photos of the allotment in and I am using the ditto ring binder for the summer holidays- only journalling at the moment as I havent had any time to add photos. I also have the fancy pants brag book- I am stilling thinking what to use this one for.

.....and the expedit we got last week is looking a lot fuller...I still need to fill the boxes at the bottom.

I have managed to do a layout today (yay) and its been a cleaning day, just going to decorate some buns next.

365- Day 209

fire

I really struggled with this prompt. Evie gave me her Hello Kitty top trump cards and I found some fireworks on the Washington DC card. In her little pack for me there was also an

olympic torch, I think she made this at school, she was asked to tidy her bedroom so that meant finding lots of things to give to me :)

I then realised on an aerosol the fire/flame icon for flammable.

Daniel had his last football day today and Evie and I went to the library for the summer reading challenge. This year its called story lab, she needs to read a book a week during the holidays and then the group meets at the library and review a book. The get stickers and play games and then a certificate at the end. She had a really good time and is looking forward to going next week.

365- Day 208

infinity

I found Harry had managed to pull his sock off this afternoon...looks like this will now become a new 'thing' for him to do....as well as throwing all the toys out of the play pen.

We did some baking today, buns (cupcakes), cookies and flapjack.

As for infinity, Evie loves tomatoes....and I thought that could be described as infinity....it has its own seeds....which can apparently grow in any number of strange places....so the cycle keeps going on and on.

As Anne said the symbol of infinity is an 8 on its side, I thought about a ring having no beginning and no end....so used our wedding rings to make the infinity symbol.

365- Day 207

multiples

a baby bath full of ball....a rubix cube.....

and a dart board- the score board being single, doubles and triples- multiples!

We called at grans this morning after taking Daniel to football and then went on to the park with gran and my nephew. Evie enjoyed the slide...and Harry really enjoyed the swing, i didnt get a photo of that though as i didnt have enough hands :)

365- Day 206

1,2,3

credit has to go to Richard for this photo, I had no inspiration today and its just too hot, I know we complained about no summer and all the rain, but when you have to still do jobs in this heat its no fun....of course next week when Richard is off work we wont have the sun will we!

Daniel had football and more football today, all day with the summer football course and then after tea it was training with his team. Evie had her cousin to play with this afternoon with Richard and Harry while I went to work. I did a bit more tidying of my craft area this morning, but still more to do and then I need to get scrapping :)

365- Day 205

nine

I thought maybe a photo of the cat- having 9 lives, but then I thought I would ask Evie for her favorite 9 books

So here she is with her 9 books.

Daniel then reminded me he is 9...why didnt I think of that??? He has been playing football all day, so is very hot, sweaty and I think caught the sun a little (he did have suncream on)

When we went shopping yesterday, we saw this pretty flower, it can be a hair slide or a broach.

365- Day 204

one

Thank you to Lynne for texting me the word this morning. We left for Leeds before the word was up, its a good hour and half to Leeds so we left just after 9. The main reason was to go to Ikea, I got an expedit. Here it is half done!

After Ikea we went to Tropical World

The meerkats were great, this one was playing dead...until one came over and woke it up, then that one played dead, lol

It was a lovely day and no arguments between the siblings as Daniel went to a friends birthday party.

365- Day 203

three's a crowd

well it had to be..... didnt it?, lol.

I actually got quite a few shots of them like the above but this one made it all worth while. They usually manage to get on, but we do have the arguements...wait until Harry is a bit bigger and it will get worse, I am sure.

A sky photo, we had a lovely sunny day today.

I quite like this one of Daniel too, he was playing tennis with Richard.

Daniel has gone to stay the night at grans and then go to a party tomorrow afternoon, so we are going to Ikea. We can only fit the expedit in with two children, so it was a good time to go tomorrow. Will see what else we find while we are there.

365- Day 202

matched pair

After tea Daniel got this game out, he was able to take a game into school today and was going to take this, but then thought it would be too complicated so chose jenga instead. Its a bit like mastermind matching the colours of your opponent (if you can remember that game) This is a pirates chest with jewels.

Evie guessed Daniels treasure chest of jewels correctly, so a matched pair!

It was the last day of school today- so 6 weeks of home entertainment now. The teachers seemed pleased with their gifts, a little notepad which the children decorated for them.

Richard went up to the allotment, our potatoes have got blight, so he cut all the tops off. Hopefully the potatoes will be ok and they wont get it too.

365- Day 201

cheese

Well I had to do the cheesy shots didnt i?? Daniel does a cheesy grin even when he doesnt know it...he doesnt seem to have a natural smile when the camera comes out.

Although I do like mild english cheddar cheese...you cant beat a cheesecake- this is everyones favourite!

Last day of school tomorrow, cards wrote, presents wrapped :) .....and then 6 weeks, wish me luck :)

365- Day 200!!

Day 200! I cant believe how fast this year is going!

airborne

Its our local one day agricultral show today, so the children are allowed off school as it can be described as a cultral visit.

Soon as we found out the word, Richard got Daniel to fly on to the sofa!

We went to the show in the afternoon, after Richard had been to work...Evie wanted us to stop and watch the horses for a little while- so another airborne moment.

We got these cupcakes for our tea, Richard chose chocolate, Daniel toffee, I had coffee and walnut and Evie spotted the gorgeous pink rose

here is a close up, it really was pretty. We all enjoyed them they were lovely. Had a good afternoon, the weather stayed kind, luckily it started raining early evening last night, so it stayed fine for today. The field was a little muddy and boggy in places but we managed ok.
