new week

well its nearly the start of a new week so thought i would update last week, like i said first week of the holidays and it hasnt gone too bad. Mum has been to scotland for a long weekend, Daniel went to Zacs 3rd birthday party today and really enjoyed it. Loved the trampoline, which we have been ages in persuading him to have a go on it, so if we ever have enough money i think thats what we will be getting...i think i would enjoy it too!! Should be good exercise too.
Got a rabbit hutch today, keith just needs to put some felt on the roof, some legs on it to lift it off the ground, and a bit of paint....just need the rabbit now, bless, daniel wanted to bring the rabbit that was at the house where we got the hutch!
Finished another scrap page in Daniels scrapbook- this one is 'cool dude' i have wanted to do this page for a while and i am really pleased with it....i want to get a few pages done, before i start on another scrapbook album for bump, but finding the time can be tricky, wouldnt be too bad if i could leave the stuff out but we have no room to do that.
Paul rung yesterday as well to say he has got moved in to the new house. So we have been quite busy, also managed to get to the coast as well and had a look at the boats, the tide was in but Daniel didnt seem impressed with the idea of the beach anyway. We went early morning so it was quiet and not very hot.
Right got to go and pick up mum now, they are a bit later then expected due to an accident on the road.
So will have to see what this week brings us...a visit to the midwife and the library van, is all that is planned so far but i am sure that will change!!

HOT HOT HOT!!!!

Its like the title says, its too HOT!!!

We had a thunder storm the other night and it didnt get any cooler, its still just as bad.
Daniel has had his first week off from the summer hols, and luckily for me, he has been very good about me not doing much, i would feel fine if it wasnt for the heat. He is helping me with jobs around the house, watching quite a bit of telly and playing with bob toys and his train. We have hardly eaten anything, certainly nothing nutritious cos i just havent got the energy or inclination to do much.
He is still taking a good interest in baby and likes to feel my tummy and have a kiss, still havent decided for sure on a name, and i am getting some very uncomfy moves from the little miss!

we have had a busy week this week, Monday Daniel was at nursery, tuesday dont think we did much of anything, wednesday we went to the local show, Daniel had a good look at rabbits to see which one he would like. It was a bit hot even though we went early so we came hom before dinner, daniel was tired and hot. Thurday was a nursery day again and Friday we had our nursery trip to sewerby. We got to go on the train, play in the park and see the animals, it was ok in the morning, but then it got hot again. weds, thurs and fri richard had of work so that was nice. On thursday while daniel was at nursery we movd furniture arund yet again, its something like i like to do every couple of months...but this time we needed to so we could fit the swinging crib into our bedroom, so the comp that was in the room is now in our bedroom along with works comp and the xbox, the bureau is back in the room and now we can fit the crib.

Been thinking of names for baby, which is proving vry difficult. Sure we will decide on something before you are here though! Just listening to Bon Jovi while i am writing this and wondered why i was feeling lots of wriggles, we will have to wait until you are here, so you can let us know whether you like them or not, hope you do like them though, yo did get to here them live!!

bump

well bump and i have made it to 31 weeks so far and we are doing very well. We found out you were a girl and must say were quite surprised, i was convinced you would be a boy. I dont know whether you enjoy it when i have a bath or not, you seem to get hiccups everytime, which you put up with for a while and then have a major wiggle which is quite funny. You will soon run out of run to wriggle in though.
Its been very hot these last few days and while i am sure it is better where you are, i am finding it quite uncomfy. Daniel is enjoying the idea of a baby, he likes to come up to my bump and give it a kiss and say hello, you often respond to his voice by another wriggle as well. I have been having pics taken every 4 weeks, so watch you growing and Daniel joins us in the photos. We have had a 4D scan done and saw you smiling and yawning which was really nice.

Alison had her baby at the weekend, 16th July, Ellie Grace, 7lbs 15oz.

Daniel

Daniel Joseph was born on Wednesday 25th September 2002, at 12.24pm weighing 6lbs 12oz. He was born on his due date and is very much loved. On a good day Daniel is great and on a bad day-....horrible! He is so cute i cant understand it at times. Daniel will soon be 4 and is turning into a lovely young man...lets hope it stays that way. He is so funny and times, good natured, very helpful and a joy to be around, this is most of the time anyway. As i said on a bad day he can be horrible, but cant we all. At the moment he wants a rabbit- an orange rabbit! He can get very upset at times, and be very sensitive....dad was going to the compost and daniel burst in to tears, he couldnt go to the compost he needed his lettuce for his rabbit!!

Daniel has two/ three cousins, Thomas and Megan richards sisters children, and Jack my brothers son, but we dont get to see Jack much, he is much closer to Megan and Thomas, as we speak to there mum a lot on the phone and get to see them quite often with not living that far away.

At the moment Daniel goes to Nursery two full days and school nursery half a day, we really enjoys going to nursery. He goes to mums and toddlers with me and usually enjoys that, but is a bit more reluctant to go and play with mum watching over him. He loves to look and books and has a book every night to read before going to bed, we take it in turns to read to him. The mobile library visits once a fortnight and he loves to go and choose some books. That is usually our week taken care of, it will soon be the summer hols though, so we will get out of routine a bit and it will be a struggle to get back into it all when the hols are over. Poor Daniel will have a sibling by then as well, so it will be all change.

Richard

Well my blog started off well didnt it, I have lots of good intentions and most of them happen but as is a problem with most, time is my biggest problem. In my last entry I mentioned a bit about me, so this one is about hubby.

Richard and I met through a friend of mine, they used to work in the same place so we had a blind date, must admit the first date didnt go particularly well, but i like to give people a fair chance so we decided to email each other a bit more....and i think thats the best way to meet people, through your thoughts written down. Anyway as they say the rest is history, we got on better and better and not that long after decided to get a house together and get married. We met Feb 2000, got a house in Dec 2000 and married May 2001, I didnt move in with Richard until after i got married. Daniel was born September 2002, and we have another on the way, due also in September.

Richard loves computers and is at his happiest when he is in front of one, he works for a local printers doing things on a computer part time and then does television guides as a full time job. He wouldnt admit it but he absolutely adores Daniel they really do get on well together and like to have fun before Daniels bedtime.

Anyway I hope to be able to post more blogs now I have a laptop again....its so much more comfy to be writing all this down on a laptop, and I might just be able to find the time.
