All finished at last!!! just need evie to wake up in the morning to try it on.

April DLO

A bit late, but just done my April layout. Used cleo crafts April kit. Pics showing what we did in Apil, we built the playhouse, i finished knitting a bag for evie. We had the easter egg hunt at Grans and went to the beach in the easter hols. Picture of daniel and evie sat on a cute little bench at a garden centre and evie alseep on the sofa.

Dan the scarecrow

At school daniel made a scarecrow and wrote a lovely story about Dan the scarecrow, i think it looks fab.

....and a pic of evie not looking her best, a bad cough and a bit of a cold on the way i think...i think she looks tired too from all the coughing in the night.

Above is the pattern i am following, i made it even easier though by only using the one colour.

The back finished until the next stage

This is what i am doing at the moment, the front, getting on with it quite well at the moment.

I finally got a bag too, been searching online as their isnt many shops here and found this....a good indurtrial one that keeps the cat out, which is the main thing.

Kite Festival

We went to the kite festival last year and really enjoyed seeing the different kites, daniel and evie got a micro midget (i think its called) and daniel has really enjoyed flying it.
We didnt know this morning if we would make it as it was hailstoning, raining and sun shining at the same time....but luckily it cam fine for a few mins this afternoon. Only me and the kids went as it was an important football match for richard to watch....which saw hull city being relegated :(
Anyway here are some pics of the kites we saw, above a nice rainbow sock which evie loved and some fish.

These ones were fantastic, they did a great show to music, dancing them around the sky, it was great to watch. We then went and bought another one for daniel, the man recommend a gnat, so thats what we got, a two string one, so great fun. When we got home we went to the park for a practice.
