Cyber crop

I actually managed to take part in the cyber crop over on UKscrappers, here are the two classes i took part in. They were both great and some new techniques to use.
Here is the Bow Street class:
And this is Angel Islington's class, love the effect of the frame and doodling.

Finished bag!

So after i knitted the scarf i got the bug of knitting. I went onto make a small bag out of the simply knitting magazine....and this is the finisged result. I am quite pleased with it. I actually got my mum to sew it up- i suppose thats my next step to start putting things together myself. I have already started on my next project a vest top for evie (she is the smallest so has to be for her, lol)

Scrap Weekly 13+14

So i am slowly catching up, here is scrap weekly 13,
I love to scrap with lots of photos and love to make a grid of photos. So my challenge to you is to use a grid in your design. It can be photos like mine, or you could use patterned paper or something else from your stash (ribbons, buttons etc).
As you can see I have used photos for a grid, 'Meet Toby', this is teddy toby, he goes places with children from class 2. We got to take him to the opticians with Daniel. What fun everyone had, even the staff. February 2010.

This is Scrap weekly 14
This weeks challenge is easy peasy ;0)To complete the challenge all you have to do is use YELLOW on your scrapbook page or card!
I have tried to scraplift and used yellow cardstock, pp and flowers. 'Evie wanted some flowers for her birthday, so we wnt to the market in town and she chose these sunflowers' September 2009.

Playhouse

When Evie got back from playgroup today this is what she saw. Needs a bit of paint and some flowers in the window boxes, but i think it looks pretty good. Hope they enjoy playing in it over summer.

Second Knitting

So after i did the scarf i wanted to have a go at something else, was going to do something for Evie to wear, but then i thought it would be better to try something else first. After Diane told us about subbing to a knitting mag, the first copy arrived and it had a pattern in for a little bag. So this is what i am trying to do now, a little bag for Evie. The bottom stitch is meant to be moss but it has come out as single rib for some reason....i dont think it matters that much though. I am quite impressed with the cable and not as difficult as i imagined. Only thing is i have to concentrate on this pattern (didnt follow a pattern with the scarf) so not able to watch tele at the same time.

Scrap Weekly 12

Bit behind at the moment....
So my challenge to you is to scrap a size that is a deviation from the norm for you. Oh and did I mention that it should also be an all cardstock layout…yep you read that right…no patterned paper allowed.

Here is mine, i dont do 8.5 x 11 very often, but its so much quicker. Only cardstock used, pic mounted on coredinations- sanded and embossed stamped image on the side. Scalloped cardstock also used and another embossed stamped swirl.

Evie in the pic all ready for school!

The Deep

Couldnt get any decent pics at the deep, we had to turn our flash's off so they dont hurt the fish....i only found out when i got home if i had increased my ISO they would have been better....will remember for next time.

Daniel doesnt like The Deep because it is dark, but being a bit older and having been with school he was a lot better this time and enjoyed it a little bit.
This was great fun, I dont remember it from last time we went, but that was 3 years or more ago. It was interactive on the floor, you could make the water ripple and try to catch the fish- they always swam away though, they both really enjoyed this, but i couldnt get a great photo as the movement was too quick.

The best picture as it kept still, lol
