BIA
I have got myself a BIA and this is my first project that i gave to Daniel....which he loved by the way. As its my first go i made it very simple, just using the 6 holes on the BIA.
For a first attempt dont think its too bad...didnt take very long either....will have to try a continous punch when i am a little braver, lol

Scrap Weekly Challenge 4
Hello all, it's my turn to set the challenge this week, and I do hope you have fun with it. Here's what I'd like you to do ~ scrap with tags, but use them in a different way to the way you normally would. On my LO, I have used 10 tags in lieu of patterned paper, 5 across the top and 5 across the bottom of the cardstock. And that's it.Thanks for playing along; don't forget to leave a link in the comments, so we can see what you've come up with.Ruth.
So here is my take on the challenge. I used my slice to cut out the various sizes of tags. The journalling reads how we dont go to macdonalds very often, but you both like to go. We were going to have tea and then pick up our new kitten, only evie fell at grans so we went to hospital first, you both still wanted mad d's for tea though.

Scrap Weekly challenge 3
Use your bad photos in a creative way.Anyone who wants more of a challenge or is such a good photographer they don't have any bad photos could do these instead/as well as the challenge above:- Put your title on your photos (works especially well if they're not good photos, see my second example below).- Use some non-scrapbooking stash, i.e the keyring or badges on the layout below.
So here is my effort, I used this blurred photo fromChristmas 2007. I have also put the title on the photo and used now scrapping stash, the ribbon and mesh were from a small gift of chocolates that Daniel was given by a teacher. The journalling reads how i think we were trying to get a photo of daniel stood next to the tree with the lights showing, but the photo was too dark and blurred, we can see daniel grinning though.

scrap weekly- challenge 1
Over on this this blog,- scrap weekly, its the first challenge. Here is my layout-
For this challenge
- I encourage you to think about your goals or things your looking forward to in 2010.
- Use up that stash you've had saved for a special occasion.
- Use a picture of yourself.
This was quite a challenge in itself, i dont 'do' photos of myself....so i am quite pleased i managed it. I have had the stash for a while now, i think it was in May's Sarah's Cards monthly scrapping kit. I didnt know how to use the owls, but i loved the colours so used it for this challenge. My journalling reads
'I would like to take more phots of myself this year, to take more and better photos in general. Hopefully this year will bring more work opportunities for both myself and Richard. I hope for health and happiness for family and friends'
So thanks for the challenge and taking me out of my comfort zone, will see what the second challenge brings me.
