365- Day 91

Games

 Well Daniel likes the sort of games on the computer, but luckily today we had decided to go bowling. Its the start of the Easter holidays and Richards birthday tomorrow, so we thought we would have a day with Harry at his Grans and we would go bowling, I wanted to go to pizza hut, but was out voted so Macdonalds it was. The main reason Daniel wanted to go to Macdonalds was because they are doing Monopoly at the moment at Macdonalds and that is one game that Daniel is a definate fan of. I think we have quite a lot of different versions of the game.

Very dissapointed with the result as you can see, Richard won and I came last!!

After Bowling and dinner we went to Asda, where Daniel saw a mug with the monopoly GO on the side, he wanted that.....this is the kind of Monopoly addict he is, lol.

365- Day 90

Humour

We went to school's Easter Fair this afternoon. Daniel and Evie had decorated their eggs at school, I think Daniels looks quite funny.

 We queued for over half an hour for Evie to have a glitter tattoo, it does look quite good though.

 I found this picture on the camera from yesterday, they look like something is funny!

....and Harry's 8 month picture. I am hopefully going to use this for a layout over the weekend for UKS weekly challenge and list the things about Harry at 8 months.

So now the school holidays....fun!

Scrap Map Challenge -CCW

Over at Creative Craft World, the March Scrap Map Challenge is nearly closed.

Here is my take on the Sketch. Journalling reads how we dont have many pictures of Harry's Christening because he was quite upset and then fell asleep. We managed to get this picture with his grandma and cousins....and brother and sister.

365- Day 89

Daybreak

Richard took this photo for me this morning, he took it at 8am, so i am guessing he had a play with the settings. The other photos showed our dirty windows...looking really dirty with the sun on them.

I now need to decorate some buns for school's easter fair tomorrow, take a photo of Harry for his 8 month milestone and do some DHW.

Morning Routine

School lunches being prepared is a morning routine here, Richard usually does them along side doing breakfast and I may add the odd thing that he has forgotten about. No yogurts this morning as Evie likes to have half of it down her school uniform. She can have one tomorrow, then the uniform can go to wash! Only one week of school, then its a fortnights Easter holiday.

Children in bed, finally able to sit together on the sofa and watch some tv.

Bedtime

 Daniel's Hull City, The tigers bed covers!

 Harry's Grobag, a fantastuc invention- no more blankets to kick off.

 Evie all tucked up and reading a chapter in her library book before sleep.

Harry's musical piglet, you pull piglet and he climbs up to the ball while playing music.

Clock

We bought this clock with vouchers when we got married and we look at it everyday as its in the living room.

Calm

I have been thinking quite a bit today about what photo to take for this word. When I got home after school I went round the house taking different photos. I managed to get this one of the cat with her tongue stuck out...she looks pretty calm.

I then spotted Evie colouring in, looking very calm....but by the time I got the camera she had stopped. Here is the picture though...

After she had finished colouring she went on the laptop to watch Angelina Balerina.

I have finished my socks! My first pair done :)

I now have an order from Daniel and Evie though and I have got some colourful self patterning wool. I need more hours in the day!

An everyday sight

Not quite every day but Monday to Friday, Harry and I wave off Richard, Daniel and Evie going to work and school.

Not had much quiet time today but if I had have done, I would have sat down and looked through this magazine that was passed on to me

Hobby

I have a few hobbies at the moment, reading, knitting which I am still quite new to, I only started about 2 years ago but scrapping has been with me a long time. I started scrapping when my eldest was born, he will be 10 in spetember! I enjoy being able to create a creative memory for my children to look back on, I hope it will be more interesting then a standard photo album.
My craft corner is in the living room so I can keep doing bits whilst doing other things...its taking over though, lol....I would love a room of my own but thats a lovely dream :)

365- Day 77

Music



We are not a very musical family, I tried as a teenager to play the piano, but I really struggled to read music. Daniel is doing really well playing the guitar, but I have already used a photo of that. So I then thought of a photo of the piano app we have on the ipad, but Evie stopped playing it when the camera came out. The next best thing we have to do with music is all the musical toys. This teddy has been a favourite of Evie's and Harry's. He plays different songs when you touch the different parts of his body, you can then make it speak instead of playing the songs.

Bliss

Any time I can spend on my hobbies is bliss, but I have taken a picture of scrapping, cards and books before. I know I have also taken a picture of my sock in progress, but here is a picture of it actually getting knitted. Nothing better then a few mins peace to enjoy a hobby.

Wild

After school having tea, I noticed how wild Evies hair was, a full day off school with PE at school and Evies hair is soon falling out of the pony tail and quite a mess.

Wednesday's are always busy! We go food shopping in the afternoon and then have to pack like we are having a fortnight away to go to my mums for tea, Evie then goes to Rainbows and then its back home. We got sat down just after half past 7 after bathing and putting to bed the children....then because I had been busy this morning I had to take my photo. I snapped away in the hope of one decent pic and I quite like this one that came out.

Shapes in Nature

Some Ivy growing across the garden floor amongst another plant that I cant remember the name of...if Richard was here I am sure he would be able to tell me. :)   edit: he has come home and its aquilegia!

Garden

Our front garden has a bush of a strange shape, the blossom buds have appeared but I like the heather underneath the bush. The little daffodils are out next to the front door too.

We have had another lovely sunny day here again too.

We went to a Christening today and this was the present in 'hiding'.

 Some crocus in the garden....and a dafodil appearing.

Richard took these photos as he did a little gardening this morning. It's a lovely warm sunny day here which makes a nice change.
