31st July 2013- the beach

although we live 20 mins away from the beach we don't go very often. Lottie stayed at home as I didn't think it would be fair to take her...when we got there, there were lots of dogs there. Think we will take her when its not so warm.

30th July 2013

Did I mention Richard has this week on holiday, well I still had to work this afternoon. This morning we decided to go swimming. Evie does lessons on a Saturday and has progressed really well, Harry and the rest of us only go in the holidays. We cant take photos at swimming which is a shame, but we had a really good morning. Harry clinged to either me or Richard but half an hour into swimming the life guard/evies swimming instructor said there was a parent and baby swimming lesson starting and would I like to do it with Harry....well Harry loved it, lots of singing and playing in the water. While we did this Richard took the other two into the bigger pool and they enjoyed that too.

I took this picture after swimming, Harry got a bubble gun for his birthday, I am still on the look out for a reasonably priced bubble machine for him.

the view

a bit of a different kind of view for you from me this week.
Evie will be 7 in September, which means she is old enough to finish Rainbows and go on to Brownies....so my view is Evie with her Rainbow. It is called flying up to brownies as traditionally brownies fly/jump over the toadstool on to guides. Myself and a friend actually started the rainbow group in the village that evie goes to, so it was nice to see the rainbow I painstaking painted still in use...the girls walk under this rainbow onto their brownie journey.

She is so looking forward to becoming a proper brownie :)

Lottie is settling in well...this photo was actually taken on Saturday when we brought her home.
