What a week! 

Evie had lost her front teeth

She sounds quite funny when she talks now. 

Harry decided on Thursday morning at 6.15 he would climb out of his cot. 

We went to minor injuries. They don't like to X-ray unless they have to and as he took a dislike to the nurse and he was using his arm at times, she thought it would be best to assess him during the day at home. I was doing my afternoon at school and was told X-ray closed at 4.30 and Daniel does football after school until 4.30. So I rung home just after 3.30 and could hear Harry screaming in the background. So I rushed home, Richard came with us so he could leave us at the hospital to go and pick up Daniel!! They thought an X-Ray was needed and turns out Harry had a buckle fracture poor thing so pot put on as he liked this nurse lol. Back to hospital on Thursday for fracture clinic. I had a phone call this morning from our doctors surgery, the health visitor seeing how Harry was as well as advising about a bed. We have bunk beds now on order. 

So a busy family at the moment. 

You know how I like knitting for my family, this time I have finished socks for Evie and a jumper for Harry. 

Will try and get back later in the week for more family photos. 

Books

So I managed one photo this week for the prompt so as it's Sunday night I better get a move on and do my blog. 

This was Monday. I can recommend the Adele parks book I managed to finish it the next day. The uni book is the last on in this module and it's very hard going. 

I like to read mixture of fact and fiction the next book I have coming from the library is about a foster carer Casey Watson. Sometimes there is nothing better then a light read of chick lit. 

I like most books for children particularly the gruffalo. I really don't like Charlie and Lola though I find them really hard to read. 

I don't think I have a favourite character. Reference book would be ann budds knitting book it has different basic patterns if different gauges which is very handy. On my book shelves, knitting, scrapping, uni and a cupcake book :(

Diamonds, diamond shapes on my cardigan, its taken nearly 3 months for me to finish knitting this, lol

 

Evie also got a card on friday, from B, bless she was jumping with happiness, lol. So thats our week. Football cancelled again today- a water logged pitch. Half term this weekend and I have another assignment due on tuesday....all i seem to be doing is assignments at the moment. Oh and as well as getting glasses Harry is potty training!

Memorable sculpture or art

We don't really have any sculptures but I do have this ornament that was given to me when I was a student. I was at college studying to be a nursery nurse and a parent had got in touch with college to see if a student could help her look after newborn triplets. She lived in the same village as me so it was ideal. I  ended up working a few hours a week for them and loved every minute. When it was time to move on they have me this. 

TV favourites.

Well I like to watch tv, at the moment I am catching up with greys anatomy, I am on the second series so a way to go. I only watch coronation street as a soap but like dramas like law and order and holby/ casualty. 

My blog story. 

My blog has been going a while, I started it as a pregnancy diary with Evie. I tend to dip in and out of blogging but it's good to have a purpose like Kathi has given us 

Digital or print ?

Both. I love the simplicity of digital but an actual hard copy print is so nice.

Evie got enroled to be a brownie on Thursday night. 

I was making dinner/ lunch for some of you :) and I turned round to see him lining up his toys. 

He isn't keen on having his photo taken for some reason at the moment, so when he realised he went all shy. I said I was taking photos for Evie to see him so this was the resulting picture. 

I will have another picture for you next week of Harry. He will be getting glasses to wear

My world

Sorry I haven't had a good blogging week. My life is pretty much the same everyday which I don't mind but can get boring for blogging lol

Harry and I went to toddlers on Wednesday and he really enjoyed playing with the wooden train track. So we thought it was time to dig it out of a bedroom cupboard. I was quite impressed with the track I created :)

Friday was achievement assembly at school which I went along to. Daniel and Evie were very lucky as they both got star of the week. 

Evie for focussing more and Daniel for trying hard in all his work. 

On Thursday nights Evie stays the night at her grans, she has tea and then goes to brownies. I found out when I saw her on Friday she is close to making her promise and this week needs to do good turns, here is her hand with the days of the week for her to write her good turns on. 

So far she has dried the pots, dusted, picked up dog mess and done some baking, oh and cleaned shoes. 

Saturday

We went to the cinema, cine world have movies for juniors on a Saturday morning everyone gets in for £1 each so as a family of 5 , £5 for the cinema is a good deal. It's the first time we have been and we saw cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2. Harry lasted about half an hour but enjoyed the experience. We then went to Pizza Hut then did a little shopping. 

Last night I finally finished my socks

Today was a home day, football was cancelled and it's been raining most of the day. 

Inside week

I thought I would do only one post for this week, but I didn't do very well with my photos.

And then I fail on Friday I was going to take a photo if school I forgot, then I forgot when I went to tesco on Saturday and I forgot to take a photo of the car on Saturday!! Today (Sunday) it is pouring with rain, Richard, Daniel and Evie have gone to Daniels football match. Harry is currently dancing to raa raa and lottie is on the sofa drying out after her walk .., so a few photos for you

Brown

My sil came round this afternoon and did Evie's hair in a different style while she was here.  I thought it was the perfect photo for brown and it's something new for me to try, although Evie usually only wants a ponytail!

Pink or purple

Evie is pink and purple. Purple glasses, purpley blue dress, pink cardigan, pink tights. I never liked pink until Evie came along and made pink part of my life!

Black

I am loving this sock yarn- the new black karbonz double pointed needles are really nice too. This is my first time doing toe up socks. 

White

I have had trouble thinking of a photo for white. We don't have many white things or what is meant to be white doesn't look very white!! I decided on my white lined paper which I seem to be stareing at lots in the hope of inspiration for my assignment. It was due in on the 7th but luckily I have an extension until the 14th. Let's hope some words appear on the white paper lol

Green

I needed this for some flapjack and chic chip cookies, nice to have a festive tin too. 

Blue

Well Instagram didn't really work for the blog. Here is my blue photo, I am trying drop spindling- spinning fiber into yarn with a drop spindle. A cheaper way to start then with a spinning wheel. 

Daniel and Evie went back to school today, so the house was quiet apart from Harry and cbeebies

colour week

I have just been having a play with instagram. I am wondering if it would work to do a few posts via instagram....hopefully time saving with a photo and a few words. Let me know what you think.
So I did tuesday- blue- first, it is my favourite colour and this is what I uploaded with instgram. It is my first go at drop spindle spinning.
