not well

evie wasnt very well on friday, she went for wee and started to cry, then it happened again, so i rang the doctors, expecting to have to beg for an appointments as i had left it until 11ish and normally you have to ring before 8.30 to get anything....and i was offered 10 to 12, i nearly fell over, it might have helped having evie screaming in the background. So off we go, finally managing to get a wee sample to take with me, doctor checked it there and it was clear but sent it off to the lab. Need to ring on monday but they are treating it as an infection. So thrush cream given and antibiotics. Took some doing getting the first couple of doeses in to her(luckily we have a nerofen syringe, and it has to be given 3 times a day) the next time she sat on the potty after a lot of persuading she said "better now" and she has got better at taking the medicine even having it with a spoon.
Daniel played football after school on thursday and then went to a friends for tea, he had a great time and the other mum said he could go again as he was lovely and ate everything then took his plate to the sink- i have trained him well!! It is nice to hear when they have been good though, shame it doesnt happen at home more, lol
On the scrapping front i have done lots of lo's with the new kit i have subbed to...i need another album now though and it maybe time for another photo order.

weekend over

why does the weekend have to go so fast?
Sat we had nephew and neice here until 2pm, then dh went to watch football after tea. Took some pics of nep. & neice....as there mum asked me to, but that was about all that happened as i was at work in the morning, so couldnt get much done.
Today ds had swimming lesson, in the new pool thats opened, so we all went along. Pleased i decided against us all having a swim as it was very very busy. Normally on a sunday you have the 10 doing there lesson and a few swimmers, not this morning, i suppose it was the first weekend of it being open so i am hoping it was a novalty factor. We then went and did the weekly shop, afternoon spent sorting out ds clothes that he has outgrown. Managed to hang some washing out and do another layout using sarahs card kit from dec, i really love the colours of this kit.
Tomorrow i am hoping the postman will be bring jan scrap kit from sarahs cards. We have a friend of daniels coming for tea tomorrow.
so another week to look forward to.

here comes the weekend

I am doing quite well at the moment, updating the blog. So today i made some bun and some russian tea biscuits (which were seen on another blog), dont think i will be making them again though, they are ok but not great.
We have got our nephew and neice staying the night, and i am at work in the morning so 4 kids for dh to look after, lol.

normal thursday?

so we start the day with daniel complaining of leg ache and he wont be able to do football after school, so i need to swap my opticians appointment so i can get to school on time.
then we have all the usual boring washing clothes, drying clothes, cleaning up. Go to pick up daniel and he runs to give a cd to a friend.....runs, he has a bad leg and cant do football, kids eh!
We have got daniels hearing appointment through, 2nd feb, i dont think he has a hearing issue but they seem sensitive at times, best to get it checked out.
So a normal thursday...what will tomorrow bring???

decisons

well i have finally made a decison and feel much better for it. I have volunteered to go and help in school, i had my first afternoon there today and loved it, so from now on wednesday afternoons will be at school.

I have also changed from subing to a card kit to a scrapbook kit.....
tomorrow, i need to take some boots to be reheeled and i have an opticians appoinment.

i have been very naughty and neglected my blog- nothing interesting to report though.
Quick update, ds passed his grade 1 swimming
dh still only got part time job
getting back to normal routine, back to school/playgroup etc
christmas thank yous are nearly done.....and it will soon be half term, lol
