Its been a stange week rushing from one thing to another, but my new spring slice card came, so i had a play and came up with this layout of the easter egg hunt. the title, butterflys, journalling and label all were done with the slice, was quite impressed with the card.
I had two days at work this week, so richard too two days holiday so he could look after evie, he made some bread and this was the result, tasted quite good as well.
I have been looking at getting a flower/plant for my windowsill for a few weeks now, fancied an orchid, but didnt like the price of £13, so we went round a few garden centres this afternoon, trying to find something, didnt like the look of most though. So ended up back in town and went to our local flower and veg shop, so this orchid for £4.99, so snapped it up. Need a container for it though as the ones in the shop were either the wrong colour or too small. So hope i dont kill it off too soon.
Anyone care to explain how i take a good macro shot, i can never get them right.
Oh and last week the car went to the garage for a service, 2 new tyres @£63 each and brake pads and discs, i am dreading that bill. Then i get my car insurance renewal today and thats £250, ouch, so the savings will be a bit depleated this/next month.
after tea we dug up the potatoes that we had grown, the strawberries that we have grown are doing well, but we only get 2 at a time, lol.
Broccoli and tomatoes still growing.
